WCI 16U finished 3rd at the Jeep Junior Olympics FIBA Championships in San Juan PR. The girls had the opportunity to play against club teams from other countries. They finished 1st in their bracket, but lost in the semis by one point in overtime to the Bayamon Cowgirls club from PR.
Both the 16U and 17U teams had the opportunity to experience international basketball, it's physicality and different rules. Both teams had the opportunity to also experience the beautiful island of PR , its people and culture.

The WCI 17U and 16U teams will be staying at the Caribe Hilton in San Juan PR, while participating at the Jeep FIBA Junior Olympics in July 2019
WCI 18U and 17U are ready to participate in Puerto Rico at the 20th Jeep Junior Olympics FIBA Championships, July 10th-14th.
The coaching staff and players can't wait to get in that plane!!WCI will be traveling with a delegation of 54 people including players and parents. In addition to getting the opportunity to play against international BB clubs, the teams will have the opportunity to learn about the PR culture and participate in various cultural activities.

The West Coast Impact Girls are heading to the Jeap Basketball Junior Olympics in Puerto Rico. Coach Jean Gelpi is taking two High School Girl Teams to represent the United States. The tournament will take place in San Juan, Puerto Rico, July 10-15.
